Showup is made by a small team in Aachen, not a company. This page names the founder and person responsible, because section 5 of the Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz asks any site like this one to say so out loud.

01

Who runs this

Kenvara Solivo Lwie
Wohnheim Schillerstraße (STW)

Schillerstraße 88

52064 Aachen

Germany

That is a room in a student residence, not an office. It is printed because section 5 DDG asks for an address a letter can be sent to, and it is the one Showup is run from. Please write rather than call round.

Showup was founded by Kenvara Solivo Lwie, who is responsible for the site. It is made with a small team of friends and was first published on 13 August 2026.

02

Contact

Email is the way in, and it reaches a person rather than a queue.

hello@showuphangout.com

There is no phone number. Anything about your data, including deleting it, is answered at the same address and is set out in full on the Datenschutz page.

03

Responsible for the content

Under section 18(2) MStV, responsible for the editorial content of this site:

Kenvara Solivo Lwie
Wohnheim Schillerstraße (STW)

Schillerstraße 88

04

What other people post

Groups, events, pictures and descriptions are written by the people who post them, and they are responsible for what they wrote. Showup does not check every post before it appears, which sections 7 to 10 DDG allow. If something on here should not be, write to hello@showuphangout.com and it comes down as soon as we know. There is a report button on every group, event and profile as well.

05

Links out

Where a host has added a link, it points somewhere we do not run. Links are looked at when they are added, and nothing was wrong with them then. Nobody can keep watching a page they do not own, so if a link has gone somewhere bad, tell us and it goes.

06

Disputes

The European Commission runs a platform for online dispute resolution at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Showup is free, sells nothing and takes no payment, so there is little for it to arbitrate. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
